Residency Graduation

I just want to take a quick moment to say how proud I am of my hard-working, highly-esteemed, humble, handsome husband.  Today he graduates from his OB-GYN residency program at UNC Chapel Hill, along with 6 of his colleagues, some of the loveliest and dearest people we have ever known. This has been a hard, long season, but also full of very, very sweet memories and, in a way, we are going to miss it! Now, on to fellowship... Similar pay, similar hours, but one step closer to the finish line!

Recent AR visits: Part 1

I still don't know if I can put words down to talk much about our recent visits to Arkansas this past April, other than to say that it was a very hard month, losing both Grandad and Mimi, but also a month full of blessings and spending quality time with a large part of our dear family that we almost never get to see.

BUT, we do have a lot of great photos from our visits, and I want to make sure that they are chronicled here!  Below are the first 107 photos from our first visit, including a trip to the Little Rock Zoo, a date night, lots and lots of family time after Mimi's passing, and her visitation and funeral.

... and of course, we got Shipley's donuts on the way out of town!  Next up, photos from our second trip back and Grandad's memorial service.
