Lately - late fall

I have photos from Thanksgiving (and Halloween - how is that already a month ago!) that I want to post, but in the meantime, here's a lot of photos of recent happenings in the Pierce household...

Morning sweetness

Lots of outdoor play (goal: outside by 10am every single day this winter)

Bacon breakfast date with dad (Love how Stuart and James are twinning here)

Bundle up and get outside!  Everyone is happier.

Potty training! I thought the first day or so was going to kill me (or him, or both).  But he's really rocking it out these days!  Only one accident in the last 10 days (and that was after 3 hours in the car with no pee break... oops).

Lots of fires in the fireplace

James' current obsession with Peppa Pig (a British cartoon that he watches on YouTube... I am trying to keep most of the paraphernalia out of our house, but he saw this giant Peppa at Target and I had to at least take a photo)

Trying to get Samuel to drop his morning nap (so he only has one in the afternoon at the same time as James, but most days he would still prefer two naps...) He often takes little rest breaks in the floor like these.

Picking out our 2015 Christmas tree at TROSA

Getting the lights on (James! Where are your pants?!?)

Felt Christmas tree - easiest Pinterest win ever

Sam cheesing at his 15 month appointment - we have a new pediatrician because our beloved Dr. Z has moved out of state... So, bring it on, Dr. Pickens!  He was wonderful this morning and said Sam is rocking it.  75% percentile in weight at 24lbs, 9 oz.  Chunk-a-munk.

And lots of homemade cooking from scratch during naptimes... Though we would have really loved to have had another baby headed our way by now (honest truth: we've been trying since the beginning of the summer and it just hasn't happened right yet), it is nice to have the boys old enough to not be so needy, and to not feel uncomfortably pregnant and enjoy some breathing room to cook and craft and keep house (because I really love those things - not all moms/women do, but I do!)... Especially this holiday season. Give thanks in everything, am I right?
