A few weeks back, the Acrees went camping at Mayo Lake, near where my brother and sister-in-law live. We went on hikes, cooked over the fire (and the Coleman stove), slept in a tiny tent on a deflated air mattress as a family of 4, went fishing (though we didn't have bait, so we used the corn leftovers from dinner the night before), played on a playground, laid in the hammock, and went kayaking with Uncle Matt and Aunt Mere's boats! James said his favorite part was peeing on all the trees. It was an exhausting and gloriously fun weekend. Stuart even said he would be willing to do it again ;) I actually can't wait to go again!
