It all started when Jill decided to move away to Nashville. We knew that we would have a few precious weeks to hang out between her return from Kenya and her moving away, and we also knew a beach trip was in order. Considering we aren't in a season of life where we can just go pay for a hotel or beach house, we were going to brave a day trip with my two littles. But THEN, dear Casey was able to line up a minivan and a beach house for us to use... So our day trip turned into a slumber party and it was awesome in all the ways.

Sweet boys on the road

Little angel Ezra sleeping so sweetly

James screaming like a stubborn toddler...

And Samuel joining him

We made it! Boys playing in the sand (the preferred activity)...

Found this awesome shade tent at Target for $20. Worth every penny.

Case and Ezra and watermelon

James and long-lost Aunt Jill

Jill making some naptime guac to snack on

Pool & boat docks outside Casey's dad's condo

James and I got to go on a little mini date. We walked to look at the boats.

Saw this white bird hunting fish, and James kept saying "That bird is cooking dinner!"

Post-bedtime margs (made with Fresca - so easy and yum)

So happy to have this friend home for a bit. We will miss you when you leave for Nashville!
And Case, thanks for lining up all the details for our little trip! It was much needed time together!
